Honoring Astrid Baumgardner

In this, our 24th year of music-making, we’re proud to honor former Board Chair and current Governance Committee co-chair. Astrid Baumgardner, JD, PCC. Astrid joined our board in 2013, and quickly helped shape our strategic vision of a holistic, global and growing ensemble-led organization. Fun, whip-smart and endlessly energetic, Astrid even frequently joins us at our SoSI summer program to teach young musicians about the benefits of creativity and positive thinking in a life in the arts. She’s a hero to us, for her generosity and continued leadership. Astrid, you rock!
